I can’t recommend this product highly enough. Swaddling helps our baby to calm easier (ala “Happiest Baby on The Block” — if you don’t know that book, look it up, it’s a perfect companion gift with this wrap). The swaddle also helps her to sleep longer, and it keeps her little hands warm at night so that they’re not ice blocks in the morning. I wish that we had bought two for those early days when she was spitting up so much so that I could always have one on her when I needed it, even if the other was in the laundry.

You might watch the nurse swaddle your baby with a receiving blanket and say, “why do I need something more expensive?” but you will be very, very happy to have the velcro on this. It’s easy to bind up your squirming baby with the swaddle-me, and it stays put so that she won’t wriggle out too soon. I love that it’s easy. I love that it’s effective. I love that it has landing-strips for the velcro so that it doesn’t ruin all the other items in your laundry.

My only complaint is that it does not last very long. Don’t count on using it for your next baby, and realize that a hand-me-down might not hold as well as a new one. My daughter used hers so much that we had to get a new one when she was only 2 months old. Totally worth it, though. I’d buy them again in a heart-beat.

Please note that this product is the microfleece, and therefore not good for summer or tropical babies. Go for a lighter material in warm climbs.

My husband and I agree that this is what saved us. Swaddling our daughter with just a blanket never stayed long enough or tight enough for her taste. Whenever she was crying we put her in this and it ALWAYS helped. We found our 8 lb daughter fit in this with room to spare. She did grow out of it, but at that point she was too old for swaddling anyway. It is what I buy for baby showers, and I always rave about this to friends and neighbors. The only problem for us was that we only had one, and when she spit up we had to wait for it to come out of the wash.

Excellent and inexpensive swaddling blankets! However, my baby soon grew out of the small size wraps, and she is just turing 7 weeks old! Would recommend buying only a couple of the small sized ones ( I bought 6 and didn’t end up using them as long as I would have liked to). These are without doubt the best designed pacifier available. They have great airflow to help prevent rashes around the mouth due to build up of saliva. The best thing about them is the little cap that fits over the teat and clips on to the back. It doesn’t matter if it gets dropped because it is protected whilst this cap is on from getting into contact with anything. These pacifiers together with a pacifier clip are must haves for anyone with a baby who uses a pacifier. You can even get glow in the dark ones for nightime. I wouldn’t be without them and I haven’t seen any others with this cover.
